About Witty Peas Nursery
Founded by two young mothers who wanted to provide a cozy environment that promotes children’s wholesome development with a solid educational foundation allowing the liberty to indulge their interests.and to grow into respectful, responsible, and confident people. The centre serves children from the age of two through four years of age. With their own children in mind, they expand a lot of thought and planning into the functional layout of the centre in order to give children a loving secure and nurturing environment.
Founders Ms. Yvonne Chin and elder sister Datuk Fanny Chin being mothers of beautiful children are dedicated to provide love and care to other children. Coming from experienced backgrounds from taking care of their own, they have come out with confidence to start their own trustworthy child care centre.
Words from Our Principal
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Witty Peas website.
It is a personal privilege to serve as a Principal and work with dedicated and professional teachers. Witty Peas is filled with enthusiastic children who enjoy learning through play and ultimately achieve many learning outcomes that make them strong mentally and physically. At Witty Peas, we strive to provide a cozy and caring environment which is suitable for toddlers (2 to 4 years old) and a curriculum that focused on hands on activities and individual needs. We also nurture our children holistically. With my experience in Early Childhood Education for the past 20 years, I wholeheartedly agree with Maria’s Montessori’s theory on sensory play and Jean Piaget’s theory on constructive learning. Both of these pioneer educators strongly believe that effective learning comes from experiential activities. I am glad that both the founders share the same mission. It is always my passion to be with children. My heart fills with satisfaction when there are significant and positive changes in the child and I am overjoyed to see them enjoying their lessons.
Here is quote that I wish to share with all parents – “Education is the most powerful weapon, which you can use to change the world.” By Nelson Mandela, former President of South Africa. ~ Lynette Foo
